Combining several evidence-based techniques and an engaging interpersonal style, I will help you feel less nervous, sad, empty, upset, frustrated, and /or confused about your life and your relationships. 

My engaging style includes listening to you thoroughly, offering support and feedback about what you are saying, and collaboratively establishing and working towards your specific goals.

Additionally, my style is an expression of my commitment to help you achieve balance in your life.  This balance is provided in therapy in several ways.  First, I will always support your right to make choices, yet I will sometimes be directive so that you can be clear as to how and why you are making decisions.  Second, you, like all people, are a thinking, feeling, perceiving, and doing being.  I will help you thrive in all areas.  Third, there has to be a balanced connection between the work you do in therapy and the life you live outside of my office.  To achieve this, I will offer you brief and relevant practice exercises that will be integrated into our ongoing work together.
